About the event

We believe the best way to build together is come together often for refreshments and conversation!

The May Cross-Cultural “Cafe” event is about sharing inter-cultural desserts and stories. You are invited to our FREE event to be part of a great fellowship. If you are willing to bake your national dessert, write out recipes to share with people, describe a cultural or family tradition or story connecting the dessert; or if you would like to attend the gathering in your national dress (or some element of your culture), we encourage you to do so. Let us know what you'll be bringing, but you are welcome even if you are not able to bring anything.

Please join us for these monthly gatherings and help us demonstrate how dynamic a future cross-cultural center can be. We’ll imagine we’re in a cross-cultural center with desserts from different countries and demonstrations of culture from all over the world. At the event you'll receive a Welcome Form on which you can describe or draw what you think a center should include and how we can help sustain it.

Door Prizes: We are excited to offer door prizes from the Circle of Caring Friends Charity.

Special guest: Dr. Linda Whitehead, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, City of Bellevue.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
